Suddhasaṅkhāravāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 1156

[1156] For whomever bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) ceases, will mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) cease for that one? Yes. Or, for whomever mental formation will cease, does bodily formation cease for that one? For all [beings] at the moment of the arising of mind (citta), and at the moment of the dissolution of mind apart from in-breathing and out-breathing, for those who have attained cessation, and for non-percipient beings — for these, mental formation will cease, but bodily formation does not cease. At the moment of the dissolution of in-breathing and out-breathing — for these, mental formation will cease and bodily formation ceases.
