[1181] For whomever, wherever, verbal formation (vacīsaṅkhāra) has not ceased, will mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) not cease for that one there?
For those in the plane without thought and examination (avitakka-avicāra-bhūmi), verbal formation has not ceased for them there, yet it is not the case that mental formation will not cease for them there. For those in the plane without thought and examination at the moment of the dissolution of the final mind (pacchimacitta), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), verbal formation has not ceased for them there, and mental formation will not cease.
Or, for whomever, wherever, mental formation will not cease, has verbal formation not ceased for that one there?
For those in the plane with thought and examination (savitakka-savicāra-bhūmi) at the moment of the dissolution of the final mind, mental formation will not cease for them there, yet it is not the case that verbal formation has not ceased for them there. For those in the plane without thought and examination at the moment of the dissolution of the final mind, and for non-percipient beings, mental formation will not cease for them there, and verbal formation has not ceased.
