Or rather, for whomever, wherever, mental formation will cease, does bodily formation arise for that one there?
For all — at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), and at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind apart from in-and-out breathing (assāsapassāsā) — mental formation will cease for them there, but bodily formation does not arise for them there. At the moment of the arising of in-and-out breathing, for them there mental formation will cease and bodily formation arises.
