For all — at the moment of the dissolution of mind (citta), and at the moment of the arising of a mind devoid of thought-conception and discursive thought (vitakka-vicāra) — mental formation will cease for them there, but verbal formation does not arise for them there. At the moment of the arising of thought-conception and discursive thought, mental formation will cease for them there and verbal formation arises.
