For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) and formless beings (arūpā), the eye sense base never arose for them there, but it is not the case that the dhamma sense base never arose for them there. For beings of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsā), both the eye sense base never arose for them there and the dhamma sense base never arose.
"Or else, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma sense base never arose, did the eye sense base never arise for that one there?"
