[512] For whatever being in whatever plane the eye base (cakkhāyatana) has never arisen, will the form base (rūpāyatana) not arise for that being in that plane?
For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the eye base has never arisen for them in that plane, but it is not the case that the form base will not arise for them in that plane. For those of the pure abodes (suddhāvāsa) and the formless beings (arūpa), both the eye base has never arisen for them in that plane and the form base will not arise for them in that plane.
Or else, for whatever being in whatever plane the form base will not arise, has the eye base never arisen for that being in that plane?
For beings in their final existence in the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), the form base will not arise for them in that plane, but it is not the case that the eye base has never arisen for them in that plane. For those of the pure abodes and the formless beings, both the form base will not arise for them in that plane and the eye base has never arisen for them in that plane.
