Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 402

[402] For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will not arise, will the form base (rūpāyatana) not arise for that one there? For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the eye base will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the form base will not arise for them there. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra) and for formless beings (arūpa), the eye base will not arise for them there, and the form base will not arise. Or, for whomever, wherever, the form base will not arise, will the eye base not arise for that one there? Yes (āmantā).
