Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 433

[433] For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) does not arise, has the nose base (ghānāyatana) not arisen for that one there? For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) and for those without eyes (acakkhuka) being reborn into the sense sphere, the eye base does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the nose base has not arisen for them there. For those passing away from the form sphere (rūpāvacara), for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), and for formless beings (arūpa), for them there the eye base does not arise and the nose base has not arisen. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the nose base has not arisen, does the eye base not arise for that one there? For those being reborn into the form sphere, the nose base has not arisen for them there, but it is not the case that the eye base does not arise for them there. For those passing away from the form sphere, for non-percipient beings, and for formless beings, for them there the nose base has not arisen and the eye base does not arise.
