Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 536

[536] For whomever the eye base (cakkhāyatana) does not cease, does the form base (rūpāyatana) not cease for that one? For those without eye but with form who are passing away, their eye base does not cease, but it is not the case that their form base does not cease. For all who are being reborn, and for those without form who are passing away, their eye base does not cease and their form base does not cease. Or rather, for whomever the form base does not cease, does the eye base not cease for that one? Yes.
