[539] For whomever the nose sense base (ghānāyatana) does not cease, does the form sense base (rūpāyatana) not cease for that one?
For those without a nose but possessing form who are passing away, the nose sense base does not cease, yet it is not the case that the form sense base does not cease for them. For all who are being reborn, and for those without form who are passing away, both the nose sense base does not cease for them and the form sense base does not cease.
Or rather, for whomever the form sense base does not cease, does the nose sense base not cease for that one?
