Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 684

[684] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) has not ceased, will the mind base (manāyatana) not cease for that one there? For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa) and for formless (arūpa) beings, the form base has not ceased for them there, but it is not the case that the mind base will not cease for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the Pure Abodes and for those attaining final Nibbāna in the formless [plane], both the form base has not ceased and the mind base will not cease for them there. Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind base will not cease, has the form base not ceased for that one there? For those attaining final Nibbāna in the five-constituent [plane] (pañcavokāra) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the mind base will not cease for them there, but it is not the case that the form base has not ceased for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the Pure Abodes and for those attaining final Nibbāna in the formless [plane], both the mind base will not cease and the form base has not ceased for them there.
