[102] For whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) arise, do indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) arise for that one there?
In the immaterial plane (arūpa), at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of unwholesome states, unwholesome phenomena arise for them there, but indeterminate phenomena do not arise for them there. In five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), at the moment of arising of unwholesome states, for them there both unwholesome phenomena arise and indeterminate phenomena arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena arise, do unwholesome phenomena arise for that one there?
For all beings who are taking rebirth, and, in the course of existence (pavatti), at the moment of arising of a mind (citta) dissociated from the unwholesome (akusalavippayutta-citta), indeterminate phenomena arise for them there, but unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them there. In five-constituent existence, at the moment of arising of unwholesome states, for them there both indeterminate phenomena arise and unwholesome phenomena arise.
