Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 1186

[1186] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) does not arise, will the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) not arise for that one there? For those passing away from the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) and for those without eyes (acakkhuka) who are being reborn into the sense sphere: the eye-faculty does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the nose-faculty will not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbāna) in the sense sphere, for those passing away from the form sphere (rūpāvacara), for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), and for formless beings (arūpā): for them there, the eye-faculty does not arise and the nose-faculty will not arise. Or else, for whomever, wherever, the nose-faculty will not arise, does the eye-faculty not arise for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the sense sphere and for those being reborn into the form sphere: the nose-faculty will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the eye-faculty does not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere, for those passing away from the form sphere, for non-percipient beings, and for formless beings: for them there, the nose-faculty will not arise and the eye-faculty does not arise.
