For those possessing mind (sacittaka) and rootless (ahetuka) who are being reborn, and, in the course of existence (pavatta), at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of a mind (citta) dissociated from faith (saddhāvippayutta): for them, there, the mind faculty arises, but the faith faculty does not arise for them there. For those with roots (sahetuka) who are being reborn, and, in the course of existence, at the moment of arising of a mind associated with faith (saddhāsampayutta): for them, there, both the mind faculty arises and the faith faculty arises.
