[131] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and with discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition, by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra).
By the knowledge of penetrating the minds of others (cetopariyañāṇa), one knows the mind (citta) of one endowed with a mind with thought-conception and with discursive thought.
Aggregates (khandhā) with thought-conception and with discursive thought are a condition, by way of object condition, for the knowledge of penetrating the minds of others, for the knowledge of recollection of past lives (pubbenivāsānussati-ñāṇa), for the knowledge of beings faring according to their kamma (yathākammūpaga-ñāṇa), and for the knowledge of the future (anāgataṃsa-ñāṇa).
Taking as object aggregates with thought-conception and with discursive thought, aggregates without thought-conception and without discursive thought arise.
