[133] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), is a condition for a phenomenon that is without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya):
Having emerged from a jhāna that is without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought, … from the path … from the fruition … one reviews the fruition; taking that as object, thought-conception (vitakka) arises. One contemplates with insight the aggregates (khandhā) that are without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought, and thought-conception, as impermanent, as suffering (dukkha), as not-self; one relishes and delights in them; taking that as object, thought-conception arises. Taking as object the aggregates that are without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought, and thought-conception, thought-conception arises.
