Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 318

[318] A phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra) is a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought. Each preceding discursive thought (vicāra) is a condition, by repetition condition, for each subsequent discursive thought. Each preceding [set of] aggregates (khandhā) without thought-conception and without discursive thought is a condition, by repetition condition, for each subsequent [set of] aggregates without thought-conception and without discursive thought.
