Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 36

[36] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), there arise phenomena with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra), phenomena without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), and phenomena without thought-conception and without discursive thought — by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on the base (vatthu), (there arise) the aggregates (khandhā) with thought-conception and discursive thought, and thought-conception (vitakka); dependent on the great primary elements (mahābhūta), (there arises) kamma-born form (kaṭattārūpa). The aggregates and thought-conception (arise) dependent on the base by dissociation condition; kamma-born form (arises) dependent on the aggregates by dissociation condition.
