[501] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a tie (gantha), a phenomenon that is not a tie arises, not by object condition (na-ārammaṇa-paccayā): dependent on the ties, mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhānaṃ rūpaṃ) [arises].
Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a tie, a phenomenon that is not a tie arises, not by object condition: dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) that are not ties, mind-originated form [arises]; rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā).
