[579] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a hindrance (nīvaraṇa), a phenomenon that is not a hindrance arises, not by object condition (na-ārammaṇa-paccaya): That is, dependent on the hindrances, mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arises]. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a hindrance, a phenomenon that is not a hindrance arises, not by object condition: That is, dependent on aggregates (khandha) that are not hindrances, mind-originated form [arises] … up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta). Dependent on a phenomenon that is a hindrance and a phenomenon that is not a hindrance, a phenomenon that is not a hindrance arises, not by object condition: That is, dependent on the hindrances and the associated (sampayutta) aggregates, mind-originated form [arises].
