Pabbājanīyakamma

[106] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses three further factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may impose upon him the act of banishment (pabbājanīyakamma): he has failed in virtue with respect to the higher virtue (adhisīla); he has failed in conduct with respect to conduct (ajjhācāra); he has failed in view with respect to view (atidiṭṭhi). Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these three factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may impose upon him the act of banishment.
