[29] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses three further factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may carry out an act of censure (tajjanīyakamma) against him: he is one failed in virtue with respect to higher virtue (adhisīla); he is one failed in conduct with respect to higher conduct (ajjhācāra); he is one failed in view with respect to higher view (atidiṭṭhi).
Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these three factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may carry out an act of censure against him.
