[619] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses three further factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may carry out against him the act of pronouncing aggravated guilt (tassapāpiyasikā-kamma): he has failed in virtue with regard to the higher virtue (adhisīla); he has failed in conduct with regard to the higher conduct (ajjhācāra); he has failed in view with regard to extreme view (atidiṭṭhi).
