[450] Bhikkhus, here a bhikkhu commits two saṅghādisesa offences (āpatti), concealed for two months; one offence he knows, one offence he does not know. He requests of the Saṅgha a two-month probation (parivāsa) for that offence which he knows, concealed for two months. The Saṅgha gives him a two-month probation for that offence concealed for two months. While he is observing probation, he comes to know the other offence as well. It occurs to him thus: "I committed two saṅghādisesa offences, concealed for two months; one offence I knew, one offence I did not know. I requested of the Saṅgha a two-month probation for that offence which I knew, concealed for two months; the Saṅgha gave me a two-month probation for that offence concealed for two months. While observing probation, I have come to know the other offence as well. What if I were to request of the Saṅgha a two-month probation for that other offence also, concealed for two months?" He requests of the Saṅgha a two-month probation for that other offence also, concealed for two months. The Saṅgha gives him a two-month probation for that other offence also, concealed for two months. Bhikkhus, that bhikkhu should observe probation for two months reckoning from that point (tadupādāya).
