[519] Bhikkhus, here again a bhikkhu commits several saṅghādisesa offences (āpatti). Some of the offences he knows; some of the offences he does not know. Those offences that he knows, he conceals; those offences that he does not know, he does not conceal. Having disrobed, he is later ordained again. Those offences which formerly, knowing them, he concealed—those offences, later knowing them, he conceals; those offences which formerly, not knowing them, he did not conceal—those offences, later knowing them, he conceals. Bhikkhus, that bhikkhu, having been granted probation (parivāsa) for the earlier and the later classes of offences according as they were concealed, should be granted mānatta.
